ABOUT ELIZABETH
Considered, evidence-based therapy, delivered with warmth.
My work is grounded in evidence-based psychological approaches, including CBT, ACT and Compassion Focused Therapy - the most researched forms of talking therapy available today. I believe good therapy is both structured and deeply human: a collaborative space where you are met without judgement and given practical tools that make a lasting difference.
I am accredited by the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), the UK's leading professional body for CBT, and hold an MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, a PgDip and a BSc (Hons).

IN THEIR WORDS
Anonymised reflections from clients I have worked with.
"Just wanted to drop you an email to say thank you again for all your support these past few months. You have changed my perception on anxiety completely and have given me a chance to live my life again to the fullest. Thank you for being so patient, calming and understanding and for giving me a safe space to learn to live with Steve"
"I hope you're well and not checking your emails over the Christmas break but now seemed like an apt time to shoot you an email! Just another thanks from me for all of your help - Christmas time is always a reminder of your situation and I've noticed big improvements in mine compared to last year, eating with family, shopping, driving around lots and eating out with friends, all of which were quite difficult for me last year!"
"Elizabeth is so calm, collected and kind, she listens to me intently and helps me realise I'm not going mental and that it's normal to feel these things, she's given me different techniques to use and different ways of looking at things to help my mind and anxiety."
"The structure of the sessions, I felt like I was listened to and able to discuss what had gone on that week but also felt guided to what we should be discussing. I felt the resources I was provided with very helpful and was very lucky with the therapist I was paired with, she has been excellent support."
"The strategy to have a balanced thought and judgement on myself helps me a lot on my daily work and life. Learning my thinking patterns and better managing my anxiety."
"Just my thanks - I'm grateful for our time together."
"Elizabeth is amazing in her role, her gentle calming and friendly nature along with her wealth of knowledge and her clear explanations has helped me overcome one of the toughest times in my life and I would like to thank her for everything."
"Excellent."
"I would like to thank Elizabeth for being so understanding and supportive. She has allowed me to understand what anxiety is and gave me a safe place to speak about my troubles without feeling embarrassed or ashamed. Her whole persona is so calming and I think she is fantastic at what she does. Thank you so much Elizabeth for all of your help and support!"
"I felt comfortable that someone would listen to my worries and concerns, and provided actionable feedback in return."
